I just got my Transponder battery replaced by Jeff Chandler.  He has a new web address: http://www.transponderservices.com/
He runs a great shop.  It took only 5 business days to ship to Australia via the Post Office (FedEx charges an arm and a leg for over-sea shipping), and only 5 business days to have it shipped back to the USA.  He even showed me how to use any regulated 12v 300mA adapter to charge the transponder (even a 9v adapter will work).  (The positive terminal is at the bottom of an AMB 260 transponder).  I highly recommend the guy.  ($80 total bill, including shipping).
