Track riders beginner classes near Philadelphia

Hello,I'm new to the forum and wanted to know if anyone could recommend a track class? I've been looking because I want to be able to ride my bike to it's fullest potential and sharpen my skills. I've never been on a track besides 1/4 mile on a bike. Any info would be helpful and what's a good track bike? I love my R1 but don't know how it would do on a course or track and I stunt on my 636R. I was thinking 05 R6?

If you want to improve your riding skills, track days are definitely the place to do it. Concerning the bike... it's not likely that you'll be pushing the limits anytime soon. In my opinion, you'll learn faster on a smaller bike.
The closest track to you is New Jersey Motorsports Park. NESBA, Team Pro-Motion, Absolute Cycle and Motorcycle Xcitement all ride there and all have beginner courses. Getting started can be a bit intimidating but after your first day, you'll be hooked.
