I'm not sure how long this has been around (I live in a cave most of my life) but this Downhill Mountain Bike park (click here) looks totally awesome!
I was there this past weekend, and saw the jumps first hand.  They look very well setup and spaced well so that you can "safely" grab some major air.
I checked out the rental bikes, too.  They are amazing.  Very light weight, disc brakes, and a suspension that would put most street bikes to shame!
Looks like a blast!

yeah, the DH park is pretty frikkin sweet man.  Teacoach and I were there when they had the free lifts, and other than watching Jon tumble a few times, it was a good day.  The XC bikes are a little sketchy for some DH riding, but it was still a blast.  They have an "XC/beginner" trail that was pretty fun, and winded down the hill a little easier, and the "007", their trademark trail, was the 2nd easiest trail and included a fun wide downhill section with smooth table-tops and rhythm sections.  However, all of the trails flow into the bottom section that you can watch from the lodge that has the jumps at the bottom of the hill.  We didn't attempt to do the other trails that would be manageable on a DH or FR bike.
I think we're going to be going out to 7 springs again through autumn fest, should be another good day of riding if you think you'd want to come check it out again, or rent a bike to try it yourself (though I think some previous mountain bike riding would help give a feel for what you'd be getting yourself into).
Tom, maybe if we go out there again, I can borrow your camera rig to get some video of the DH park!
