so your buddy only got the slip on system?

This bike has the Full Yosh system, which retails fro $720.  Plus he did the dynojet ket for it which is $85.

Graphs show it making really good gains

a little off topic, but while we're talking about riding bikes to conserve gas; Tom, I think this should be your next bike of choice for dirt/sumo.  The ZeroX, an electric dirtbike.  Check it out!

Well that guy sold it before i could go look at it, but I found another used one.

Its green, and he is holding it for me until Monday or Wednesday.

It has more miles, but is less money (which also means no exhaust kit)

Sorry to hear that the first 1 got away.  They're tuff to come by.  You'll definately want the Yosh pipe, it's worth the extra $370.  (If you don't believe me, search YouTube for Ninja 250 - and you should be able to hear what a difference it makes.  - Without the Yosh pipe, it sounds like a scooter.  And, it's definately more responsive with the pipe.  You can probably get away without jetting it.  I noticed that it's a little rough around 2000 RPMs, other than that it runs smooth.

that electric dirt bike would be great in my housing community (since I'm sure they'd call the cops on me if I decided to ride the 426 thru the woods!)
I watched all the videos - those bikes can really go.  Although, it does seem odd to see something so small and quiet zipping thru the woods and over MX tracks.
But - if Pittsburgh had an indoor track to go to in the winter time with those bikes - I'd be there every weekend!

Ninja 250 yearly insurance rates

Full coverage: 100/300/100 - 250 Comp - 500 coll = $174/year

Drop the collusion coverage and its $118/year

That is awesome

awesome - glad to hear you got a bike you will actually ride!
If I bring out my buddies 250r we can see how they stack up next to each other (and cause a traffic jam on the front and back straights!)

FYI - heard back from Dunlop today... if you are running the stock GT501 tires on the bike, then the recommended pressures are 28-front and 32-rear for all loads and street conditions.
For some odd reason, they claimed there are "too many variables" to recommend track pressure (which I think is a ridiculous statement... coming from the manufacturer of the tire... so I'll give you my recommendation... since those pressures are already "typical" track pressure... run 28/32 on the track (that wasn't so hard))

cool...i need to change the oil this week and get it over 600 miles before the track, but that shouldn't be too hard.

did you buddy get his 600 mile service done, how much was it?
