Looks like the dealership will have 4 trackdays again for 2008!  A 2 day weekend in April on the 26th and 27th, June 4th, and then again on Sept. 3rd.

The online schedule will be updated A.S.A.P.

Yes - thank you very much, Lee!
Lee's track days are the best.
(click here for Euro MC of Pgh)
This year - I have an 80cc Yamaha to compete in the lunch-time race around the north track... and - the chain on the pocketbike is still holding up (special thanks to Beatty Welding Company on Babcock Blvd for the advice on popping pins and not using a master link: 412-364-0691).  Although - my son (Jordan) will be 8 by then - and will probably be the fastest rider on an 80cc bike (especially since it's his!).
(I might have to get some street tires for that bike so he can join us for the supermoto practices... and get rid of that kart... it has too many wheels!)
I also have my 426cc supermoto bike that we will force-feed to Ian.  Hopefully by Sunday, I'll have learned how to back it in to T-10!

Tom, sounds like you've been keeping yourself busy.  Doesn't Jordan finally get to race the 80cc kart this year?  I'll have to stop up at the Beaver to check that out.

Oh, and since we're talking about fixing bikes... anyone know how to split the case on a Monster 900?

Yes - the dirt bike has been keeping me plenty busy.  Hopefully, the '06 axle spacers fit, and I'll be done working (aside from changing the fork seals).

As for Jordan - yes, he gets to race in the 80cc class, finally.  He was able to race 80cc in the "pumpkin race" this past Oct.  He found out that passing is very difficult when everyone's running about the same speed, and will need to get more aggressive this year if he wants to win.

I recommend checking out the kart races - they are very exciting and competitive.  It's neat to see the drivers pushing the karts to the limits - and beyond!

Sorry to hear you need to split the case on a Monster... sounds like that will keep you busy 'till spring!
