Well, I finally did my first SuperMoto race (and practice... in the same day
), and all I can say is fun FUN
FUN!!! The asphalt section of the race is so much fun, and you can lean that bike over so much further than a sport bike. And, it's much more forgiving when you make a mistake! And - if you go down, the only thing you hurt is your pride (can't say the same for a sport bike).
The dirt section scared the crap out of me at first. But, as the day progressed - you get used to it. And, by the end of the day, I was having as much fun on the dirt section!
This is an extremely fun sport - and will definitely be involved in it more often. Practices are only $22 (and there's no pre-registration), and races are only $60.
The next race is Oct 13... we'll be there!
