Hey Rick, welcome to your new addiction ! !   If it makes you feel any better I just turned 54 this month...  I can't get enough track time!
All the people that go to Lee's track days, are helpful and friendly.
See ya up there......

This is my 2nd post here. I'm not much for postings (I work on Computers at work all day and get tired of them) but thought I should get a little input here. I am from Reedsville, WV and work in Clarksburg, WV I ride twisties daily to and from work. I can't wait to try out the track. Does any know of a good motel/hotel to stay at the night before the session? I am coming up Tues. Night. This site is great for tips etc.

Later, Mike

I never had to stay at a motel for the Beave, but I do know that there are 2 motels on 18 which look real cheap (not sure of the names - you'd have to try googling for motels in Wampum (zipcode=16157) - or Beaver Falls, ).
If you're looking for something a little nicer, BeaveRun recommends the Holiday Inn:
(click here) There are also several other lodging recommendations on BeaveRun.com
Hope that helps.
See ya on the track!

The BeaveRun website makes it seem as if you'd get a discounted rate if you mentioned you found the link from BeaveRun.com, and you're going to BeaveRun.
Just out of curiosity - did Holiday Inn give you a discounted rate (or is that only for "group rates"?)

Hey T-Griff,,,  it's Kevin,,, I assume you're making it on wed...  Don't forget you vid-cam, I'd like to do that again! Bring plenty of gear levers!  Hopefully we'll have a dry day,, the West Hills day was a little wet..  See everyone there!

Mike there's a big steel green building on Rt 18 you can stay at also if you're a member.......  Better stay at the Holiday Inn you're 1st time..  I'll explain at the track.

Hey - I'll promise not to break my shift lever, if you promise not to burn out your clutch  Shocked (at least you had yours fixed by lunch! - pretty impressive!)
I'll be there, and I'm bringing the cam, and an extra shift lever part.  See ya on the track!

Hi Chris, Beaverun is about 400 mi from NYC (A long 6+ hours down I-80).  A lot of guys from your area go to Summit Point or Pocono because those tracks aren't quite as far.  That said, if you don't mind driving, Beaverun is one of the better tracks in the region (my opinion).
